Just did a little thinking, we'll probably have to push back the writing till we've cleared our exams. Sides, there's gonna be a whole load of planning to be done before we could get started. Fear not however, we'd still carry on with our characters as planned. There's a few big issues we've got here concerning the story.
Map
First off, you guys are done with your characters, we're gonna have to link the various regions together into one big world. They'll probably be separated by some bigass sea and each region would have their own unique culture and features (Now that, requires some thinking.). Therefore, I would appreciate it if you guys wouldn't mind me editing a little just to fit it into the master world. Another thing's that I would like to go into the history of key places, including the world itself and that would take quite a fair bit of time.
Magic
Well, what's a fantasy story without magic? There's gonna be kickass spells, catastrophic magic, mystical relics and the list just goes on and on. However, to actually start on with all of these, we've got to come out with a magic system. How magic works? Who can wield this power? Probably gonna try cover all of em.
Races
Yea, this is one helluva tough nut. I know, it's confusing for most of you guys who have little experience with the fantasy world and so I'm gonna make it easier by introducing archetype races. Races like the nimble elves, sturdy dwarfs, battle hungry orcs and the all-rounded (like in most games and movies) men. Of course, you guys can still mix around like a half-breed elf and you guys don't need to follow the stereotypes.
That's it for now I guess, here's another character which can serve as a guide.
Delrond Shadenpine
A half elf birthed by an elven mother and a human father, Delrond was raised in the slums of Mecandon, the trading hub of the East. Growing up, he had a tough childhood, his mother disappeared soon after her husband succumbed to the plague, till now, he's still flummoxed by her disappearence. He seeked solace within the towering roofs of the city, leaping from roof to roof with ease in the cover of night. Elven blood streaming through his body, he is blessed with speed and the nimbleness of elves. He lived a life as a petty theif, stealing from the corrupted which one would have no trouble finding in Mecadon. One fateful day, he met the fire mage, Al-Vizjahl, who took him in as an apprentice, learning how to curb the raging wrath of fire and wield it. Delrond learned eagerly, taking in all that his master has to offer. Although impressed by Delrond's progress and enthusiasm, Al-Vizjahl could not impart the secret arts of a Kraden, the elite mages, for the council of magic forbids it. Thus, Delrond sets out to prove himself worthy of not only the mantle of a Kraden but also the writings of historians in years to come.
